PBTools Synchronizer

description

Hi,
press the synchronizer and look to the path of the test.txt.

Please use e.g. "%programmfiles(x86)%\PBTools\test.txt" to open it. Other there come a error. See attach.

This is the installed path on W8.

Hi Andre

I found the problem. Actually there is no problem with path, but setup does not copy new multi.txt to your computer as it is already exist. I am fixing setup file right now. New build will replace this kind of files.

Thanks for your message

André

Most probably you do not have permission on drive C. Could you please modify test.txt and change the target drive and path.

Hi Murat

Please do not use the path "C: \" to copy or otherwise.

As a suggestion, I would use the Windows variable %temp% to use objects to copy or otherwise.
According to the guidelines from Microsoft, it is not allowed on this path.

I use W8.1.

I use this variable in my sourcecode. It works good and our customers will not be able to point out to Microsoft's guidelines.

When it is possible then use the variable.

I replaced "c:" with %temp% in the test.txt file. PBTools will get temp folder and use it.
Fixed on build 120

Thank You André

Hi Murat

%temp% is now perfect. But there was an open_file_error. See attach.

Hi André

I think it is again the same problem. It cannot copy zip file to windows folder. I see windows folder was not good idea but we already used temp folder. Could you please replace windows folder in test.txt with your own folder and try.
